We are in the midst of a global thrust towards the liberalization of data, with governments allowing greater access to, and use of, data by citizens.CAPRI in partnership with USAID-NIA, with Ms. Desiree Phillips as the Lead Researcher, is undertaking a study on the power of open government data. CAPRI's report seeks to assess Jamaica's current open data programme, and to identify those shortcomings to be remedied, as well as opportunities where value could be added.
