The Caribbean Policy Research Institute, (CAPRI) is hosting its first face-to-face report launch and discussion since the advent of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The report titled, “Budget Breakdown 2023: An Analysis of the Government’s Proposed Revenue and Expenditure,” seeks to dissect the 2023/24 National Expenditure Budget.
The launch event will be held on Wednesday, May 17, 2023, from 6 pm to 7 pm GMT-5, at the UWI Regional Headquarters -Nigel Harris Council Room, 2 Hermitage Road, Kingston 7.
Executive Director and Lead Researcher on the report, Dr. Damien King, will deliver a presentation that assesses the credibility and sustainability of the budget and highlights the most impactful changes.
After this. Priya Alexander, CAPRI Researcher, will moderate a discussion between our special guest, Dr. Nigel Clarke, Minister of Finance, and the Public Service, and Dr. Damien King.
