She is passionate about utilizing and harnessing her skills and knowledge in the field of Economics and Statistics. She earned an M.Sc. in Economics with a specialization in Economic Development, Game Theory and Industrial Organization, and a B.Sc. in Economics and Statistics (First Class Hons.), both from the University of the West Indies, Mona. Her earlier years saw her working at the Bank of Nova Scotia, UWI Mona Bursary and in the Dean's Office at the Faculty of Social Sciences on the UWI Mona campus. Monique has also served as a Graduate Assistant assigned to a Tutor in the Department of Economics where she explored Calculus, and Mathematics for Social Sciences I and II.
